Independent Ireland spokesperson for Urban Affairs Cllr. Ken O'Flynn, has expressed his sympathies with the family and friends of  Joe Carthy, aged 14, who died tragically in Kilkenny yesterday.

Taxing people with reckless abandon to fund pipe-dream programs is not just bad governance, it is economic malpractice.  The Green Party represents fewer than five percent of the Irish people, yet Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil allow them to impose their radical agenda on the rest of us. 

Michael Collins TD, Leader of Independent Ireland, expressed his dismay at the government's decision. "This bailout is an outright scandal. The Irish people are being forced to bail out a broadcaster that has failed to manage its finances responsibly. It's a reward for all-round bad practice, and it's the taxpayers who will suffer," Collins said. "We need transparency and accountability, not another instance of the government kicking the can down the road and kicking the taxpayer once again - it is shocking that people who are already struggling to cope are being once again punished for state owned incompetence."

"The government's failure to address these critical issues is evident," O'Donoghue continued. "The traditional view of 'Generation Rent' as young people in early career stages or education is outdated. The 2022 Census data shows a growing number of those aged 40 and over now living in private rental accommodation. This broader demographic shift towards renting over homeownership is a clear indication that our current housing policies are inadequate."

Bad Government policy has caused Ireland’s immigration crisis to again reach a boiling point and it is time for the Government to listen to its citizens – Ireland cannot accommodate mass migration and the Government must cease forcing unwanted policies on the people of rural and urban communities all over Ireland.

Since 2022, violence has erupted in communities across Ireland upon residents discovering the Government planned to turn their neighbourhoods, towns, and villages into migrant accommodation centres.
