A two-term County Councillor, former Mayor of Tralee Municipal District, Leas Chathaoirleach of Kerry County Council, and TD in Dáil Éireann, Thomas has represented Kerry with integrity and commitment at every level. His legislative experience includes serving as Vice Chairman of the Oireachtas Committee on Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, and as Convenor of the Oireachtas Committee on Education and Science.
