Independent Ireland on the Rise: Party Now Polling as the 5th Largest in the State Following Successive Gains
Independent Ireland’s popularity among voters has risen for the second consecutive poll, with the party now polling at 5% nationally.
The party’s TDs are leading the charge for accountability in government, tackling waste and overspending of taxpayers' money, and consistently advocating for common-sense solutions to address the many crises in housing, healthcare, the cost of living, and immigration. Additionally, they continue to provide strong support for farmers and the fishing sector.
Irish neutrality is likely to become a key national focus, while MEP Ciarán Mullooly is spearheading opposition to the Mercosur Deal in Europe, which could have devastating consequences for Irish agricultural exports.
This week, Independent Ireland TDs will table a motion in the Dáil aimed at addressing government overspending and waste while ensuring accountability for mismanaged funds and projects.
